Meet Dr. Dao Tran: A Passion for Helping Patients Heal
Editor’s note: Co-written by Dr. Dao Tran and Dr. Quan Tran, adapted for the web from their feature in Asian Premier Magazine (Vol. 6, pp. 26–27).
For more than two decades, Dr. Dao Tran has dedicated his career to a simple but powerful idea: that the body has a remarkable ability to heal itself when given the right care. As a chiropractor serving the South Bay and Orange County, he has helped thousands of patients move past pain — without surgery, and without becoming dependent on medication.
A different kind of doctor’s visit
Many patients arrive at Dr. Tran’s office after months — sometimes years — of frustration. They’ve tried painkillers that only mask the problem, or been told surgery is their only option. Dr. Tran takes a different approach.
“Pain is a signal, not the problem itself,” he explains. “My job is to find what’s actually causing it and address that — so the relief lasts.”
Every new patient begins with a thorough evaluation. From there, Dr. Tran builds a personalized treatment plan that may combine chiropractic adjustment, physical rehabilitation, and modern pain-management techniques, all tailored to the individual.
Care for the whole community
Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Dr. Tran is proud to serve a diverse community across his two offices in Torrance and Fountain Valley. Patients describe him as attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in their recovery.
He’s especially passionate about education — making sure patients understand their condition and feel empowered to take an active role in getting better.
Getting you back to what matters
Whether it’s an athlete recovering from a sports injury, a parent dealing with chronic back pain, or someone healing after a car accident, Dr. Tran’s goal is always the same: help them get out of pain and back to the people and activities they love.
